A well-respected and established loss adjusting practice is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Loss Adjuster to join its team in Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused adjuster to manage a varied portfolio of commercial property and business interruption losses, typically up to £100,000. APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS: The Commercial Loss Adjuster will manage a portfolio of commercial insurance claims from initial instruction through to settlement. Handle commercial property losses, including material damage and Business Interruption (BI) claims. Investigate and validate claims, establishing policy coverage and quantum. Liaise effectively with insurers, brokers, policyholders, loss assessors and other stakeholders.
Prepare detailed reports and provide clear recommendations to insurers. Negotiate settlements and ensure claims are progressed efficiently and professionally. Maintain strong client relationships and deliver a consistently high level of service. Manage workloads effectively while maintaining technical and regulatory standards.
