Drive Commercial Performance Improve project profitability, forecasting accuracy and cash generation. Ensure transparent commercial reporting across the business. Provide commercial leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle. Deliver best-in-class commercial governance and controls. Protect the Business Lead negotiations on major client contracts and supplier agreements.
Provide expert guidance on NEC4, JCT and bespoke commercial contracts. Manage commercial risk across the business. Lead the resolution of major commercial disputes and claims when required. Shape Procurement Strategy Develop procurement strategies that support sustainable growth. Build strategic supplier relationships. Deliver value through smarter procurement and commercial innovation. About You You'll already be operating in a senior commercial leadership position within engineering, infrastructure, construction or the energy sector and be looking for an opportunity where your influence genuinely matters.
You'll bring: Significant senior commercial leadership experience within engineering, construction, infrastructure or energy. Strong knowledge of NEC4 and JCT contracts (bespoke commercial contracts involving third-party financiers would be advantageous) Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing contractual risk. A track record of improving commercial performance and delivering business transformation.
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills. The ability to simplify processes and drive continuous improvement. A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing high-performing teams. Commercial acumen combined with strategic thinking and strong business judgement.
