We are specifically looking for someone who understands that Commercial waste operations are about much more than getting trucks out of the yard.
You need to know how to lead drivers, manage routes, solve service problems, take care of customers, protect valuable contracts, and run an efficient operation. The Experience We're Looking For Our strongest candidates will have hands-on experience managing Front Load and/or Roll-Off operations within the waste and recycling industry. You should understand: Front Load and/or Roll-Off route operations Commercial waste and recycling customers Driver supervision and accountability Routing, productivity and service efficiency Customer complaints and service recovery Commercial account and contract retention DOT and operational safety requirements Fleet and equipment coordination Labor management and route coverage Coaching, training and developing drivers Commercial driving experience is a plus, but this is first and foremost an operations leadership position.

What You'll Do As a Commercial Route Supervisor, you will oversee the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of contracted services to Waste Pro's commercial customers. Directly supervise Commercial drivers and daily route operations. Meet with drivers at the beginning and end of their routes and communicate service, safety and equipment priorities. Ensure required pre-trip and post-trip inspections are properly completed.
Monitor routes, productivity, yardage, tonnage, hauls and labor utilization. Identify underperforming routes and make routing adjustments to improve productivity and control labor costs. Route new service starts and coordinate container delivery, service schedules and removals. Follow routes in the field to evaluate service
