Compensation RangeHourly: $19.00 - $27.65 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This JobThe main purpose of this job is to provide back-office operations support for commercial, business banking, and various specialty lending products.Essential FunctionsComplete a preliminary review of loan submissions to ensure regulatory and legal compliancePrepare loan documents in accordance with Commerce Bank's credit policyInterpret complex loan documents to set loans up on the loan accounting systemPost loan transactions and provide account problem resolutionProvide ongoing monitoring and reporting of collateral securing commercial loansComplete a post-closing review to ensure all documents comply with regulatory requirements and Commerce Bank policyCollaborate with internal and external business partners to improve service levelsProvide research and resolution to customer concerns/issuesPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities RequiredAbility to analyze, interpret, and understand commercial loan and/or legal documentation with a high degree of accuracyMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesInquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core ValuesIntermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook Education & ExperienceAssociate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required1+ years customer services experience requiredCommercial lending experience preferred*Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
