We are looking for a Commercial Officer to join us at SNC Mission Systems UK in Bristol. We provide tailored mission systems integration and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) solutions for the UK Government and its allies. Operating for over a decade, we deliver cutting-edge capabilities from open-source intelligence (OSINT) to uncrewed surface vessels and high-altitude one-way effectors that deliver true interoperability across all security levels. As a Commercial Officer you will work across the full commercial lifecycle, supporting bids and proposals, contract management, supplier engagements, subcontracting activities and commercial governance.
Working closely with Programme Managers, Engineering, Procurement, Finance and Senior Leadership teams, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of strategically important programmes whilst helping to protect SNC MS UK's commercial interests. Some of your responsibilities include… Support the preparation, review, negotiation and administration of customer contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, framework agreements and teaming arrangements.
Assist with the commercial aspects of competitive bids, proposals and growth opportunities. Identify contractual, commercial and operational risks and support the development of appropriate mitigation strategies. Review customer and supplier terms and conditions and support commercial negotiations. Ideally, you'll have previous commercial, contracts, or procurement experience within Defence, Aerospace, Maritime, Government, or another highly regulated environment.
