Office of Commission Clerk: The Office of Commission Clerk is the official keeper of the FPSC public records and consists of two sections: the Documents and Case Management Section and the Events and Hearing Reporting Section. The Documents and Case Management Section accepts and processes filings in the Case Management System, maintains the Master Commission Directory of regulated utilities and is responsible for managing and coordinating the establishment of new dockets, issuance of orders and notices to parties and interested persons.
The Events and Hearing Reporting Section is responsible for preparation and issuance of Commission Conference Agendas, preparation and filing of official record transcripts and hearing exhibits, maintains the FPSC’s Schedule of Live Events and provides support staff to record events. Description of Job Duties: The Commission Deputy Clerk I position is within the Office of the Commission Clerk. The incumbent’s duties and responsibilities are as follows: Receives and processes over-the-counter filings and documents.
Answer main telephone line, assist and route calls. Review Records Clerk email, conduct research and respond to request, or route as appropriate. Receive, convert, print, scan, and enter descriptions for correspondence in Case Management System. Conduct microfilm research and digitize microfilm. Minimum Qualifications: Four years secretarial or clerical work experience. College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours per year for the required work experience.
