Location: Lewisburg, PA (Hospital + Outpatient Clinic) Start Date: May 18, 2026 (or June 8, 2026) Duration: 6 months minimum (ongoing potential) Positions Available: 4 Position Overview Seeking a Board-Certified General Cardiologist for a full-time locum opportunity supporting a busy outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital service. This role includes clinic care, procedural cardiology, and call responsibilities , with strong emphasis on diagnostic and non-interventional cardiology.

This is a high-acuity, high-volume role ideal for a cardiologist comfortable with a mix of clinical and procedural work. Schedule Full-Time Position Clinic + procedural lab coverage Call Requirement: 1–2 nights per week 1:4 to 1:5 weekend call Inpatient rounding expected during call weekends Average daily patient volume: 17–18 patients Clinical Responsibilities Outpatient general cardiology clinic visits Interpretation and management of: Nuclear cardiology studies Echocardiograms Stress testing TEE procedures Cardioversions Cardiac monitoring studies Inpatient consults and rounding as needed Collaboration with APPs and interventional cardiology team Practice Details Setting: Hospital + Clinic EMR: Epic Hospital Size: 150-bed acute care facility Support Staff: APP support available (including interventional team backup) Clinic Staffing: 1 full-time physician currently in place Cath Lab: ~3 days/week procedural exposure Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC (required) DEA required Minimum 1 year experience required Must be nuclear and echo board certified (required) CT board certification preferred but not required Additional Information Credentialing: Temporary privileges available with clean file Minimum commitment: 6 months All orientation hours are billable Strong procedural cardiology environment Why This Opportunity?
