Person specification Essential Essential criteria Mb ChB or equivalent MRCP or equivalent Specialist Register for Cardiology or CCT within 6 months of interview Broad training in general cardiology extensive training in intervention Competent in managerment of acute and chronic heart failure Ability to integrate within a multidisciplinary team A high degree of motivation and personal self-discipline.

Ability to function both as a member and a potential leader of a multi-disciplinary clinical team. High level of resilience. Commitment to an understanding of the principles of audit. Experience in organisation and undertaking audit. Research and evidence base to practice Ability to manage own time and work effectively, understanding of role and importance of management in the NHS. Excellent communication skills Evidence of leading a team Desirable criteria Additional higher degree(MD or PhD) in relevant subject Evidence of research, service development or experience in innovative technology Experience of organising teaching programmes Competent in another complementary sub-specialty, for example cardiac device implantation and follow-up Evidence of successful project completion Publication of audit and service improvement projects locally and nationally Leadership/Professional development course Evidence of management ability for example in organising and leading a clinical research team or of service reorganisation #J-18808-Ljbffr
