Position: Transportation and CFC contractorLocation: Forest Hill, TXPay: $15.00 per hour (HCS)HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Attendant for a 60 year-old male who is verbal an needs a staff for assistance with transportation to doctor appointments and other community outings.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Proficiently communicates in the functional language of the individual to whom the CFC is and transportation is assigned.Feels comfortable working in close physical proximity to individual.Demonstrates emotional maturity, stability, and ability to perform under stress, and possesses frustration tolerance.Shows ability to exercise good judgment, cooperation, tact, and discretion in dealing with the individual, family, etc.Shows interest in developing additional knowledge and skills.Walk with the individual in his neighborhood.QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageMust NOT be the spouse of the individual to whom the Contract CFC staff is assigned: or if the individual is under 18 years of age, a parent of the individual to whom the Intervener is assigned.Must have a High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of two years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilitiesValid Texas Drivers' License.Make a living by making a difference.
