This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations, workplace investigations, and compliance who can partner with leadership to support a fair, compliant, and employee-focused work environment.About YouBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field5+ years of experience in employee relations, compliance, investigations, or a related HR functionStrong knowledge of employment laws and regulatory requirements, including EEOC, HIPAA, and OSHAExperience handling workplace investigations, employee complaints, and performance management mattersExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to manage confidential information and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systemsExperience in nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or other highly regulated environmentsAbout the JobLead employee relations initiatives, including complaints, grievances, and workplace investigationsPartner with leaders on disciplinary actions, corrective actions, and performance improvement plansOversee employee performance review processes and related documentationEnsure compliance with employment laws, behavioral health regulations, and organizational policiesManage HR compliance functions, including background checks, audits, and recordkeepingSupervise HR staff supporting compliance, HRIS administration, and personnel recordsAnalyze trends, identify risks, and recommend process and policy improvementsSupport a culture of accountability, consistency, and employee engagementThis is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule requiring three days onsite and two days remote after training in Philadelphia, PA.

Compensation is up to $43.20/hour during the contract period, with an anticipated conversion salary of $94,000 annually depending on experience.
