In this position you will perform inspection of components based upon work instructions which may include standard work, blueprints, visual aids or reusability guidelines.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused environmentOperator should have attention to detail and be self-motivatedOperator will work in a team environmentMay require use of Mag equipment and certificationCandidate may be required to interpret blueprints and utilize Factory Process/EPIX/MES/PinPoint as neededCandidate is expected to understand torque requirements and processesOperate hand tools, cordless tools, gauges, vibration toolsMay be required to use an overhead hoist to move large componentsMay require loading and unloading partsMay require utilizing heavy equipment, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, overhead cranes, and/or electric pallet jack to move parts in and out of areaMay require wearing a respirator suit to clean engines and componentsMay perform order filling, processing, storing/ picking of parts, materials, equipment, and suppliesMay require operating automated packaging equipmentMay require checking incoming core/material and entering dataCross training in other positions up to and including Salary Grade 2 may be required, based upon basic qualifications and physical requirements being metExamples of positions within Salary grade range include Cleaning 1, 2, 3, Disassembly 1, 2, Assembly 1, 2, Machining 1, 2, and Logistics 1, 2Reference other position postings for specific qualifications and physical requirementsUtilize various computer systems including email on a regular basisCandidate will work in an environment without close supervisionBasic Qualifications:Basic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data)Required to read/write and interpret documents Top Candidates will also have:Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and ExcelPrior use of hoistsKnowledge of engines and componentsMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsPrevious forklift experiencePrevious inspection experiencePrevious experience reading and interpreting blueprints or electronic visual aidsExperience with tooling (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools, etc.)Physical Requirements:Job may be physically demanding at times and must be able to handle high volume fast-paced operationSome positions will require forklift operation/trainingMay work in an environment with frequently changing temperaturesMay walk, squat and bend for intervals of 15-30 minutesMust be able to wear proper PPEMay be required to lift/push/pull heavy parts up to 30 lbs.
