Site based roles are mainly based at the workplace, with the option to work from home for up to two days a week, depending on service needs.
Home based roles are mainly based at home, with the expectation of attending the workplace up to one day a week. The working arrangement for each role is set by the manager, based on service requirements. Job Introduction We’re recruiting a Council Homes Compliance Manager to join our Housing Maintenance and Investment service. This rewarding role plays a key part in keeping our council homes safe, well maintained and compliant with housing safety requirements.Leading building surveying and project management activities, you'll oversee repairs, maintenance, improvement programmes and construction projects across our housing portfolio.An important aspect of the role is strengthening our approach to damp, mould, condensation and hazards identified through the Housing Health and Safety Rating System.As the council's technical lead in this area, you'll provide expert advice on Awaab's Law and wider housing safety requirements.Success in the role depends on building strong relationships with residents, colleagues, contractors, councillors and senior managers to drive timely and effective outcomes.Alongside operational leadership, you'll support the Council Homes Safety Lead with strategic planning, governance reporting and service improvement initiatives.If you're an experienced housing or building professional looking to make a real difference to resident safety, this is the role for you.
Site-Based role This is a Site-Based role, and you’ll be expected to work from the designated workplace. Support the strategic planning and continuous improvement of services affected by Awaab’s Law and other housing safety legislation. Oversee cont
