This is a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller who is confident taking ownership of a busy customer ledger, chasing outstanding payments and keeping aged debt to a minimum. You’ll be responsible for proactively collecting outstanding debt, resolving invoice and payment queries, allocating cash, completing account reconciliations and building strong relationships with customers to ensure payments are received within agreed terms.
The role would suit someone who enjoys the fast-paced nature of Credit Control, is confident picking up the phone and can manage their ledger effectively from start to finish. Credit Controller Responsibilities Managing your own portfolio of customer accounts Chasing outstanding payments by phone and email Managing aged debt and reducing overdue balances Allocating customer payments Resolving invoice and account queries Carrying out account reconciliations Setting up and maintaining customer accounts Working closely with finance and sales teams Producing regular aged debt reports Credit Controller Experience Required Previous Credit Control experience Confident chasing outstanding debt Strong communication and customer service skills Good Excel skills Organised with strong attention to detail Comfortable managing a busy customer ledger This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful organisation offering a supportive working environment, genuine opportunities for career development.
