CREDIT RISK SPECIALIST JUNIOR EXECUTIVE GRADE Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC (MBSL), a subsidiary of the Bank of Ceylon, is a leading financial institution committed to delivering innovative financial solutions while upholding the highest standards of corporate governance and regulatory compliance. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Executive – Credit Risk to support credit risk assessment, portfolio monitoring, Loan Review Management (LRM) activities, and the development of risk management practices to ensure sound credit quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Experience: G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification with three passes (preferably in the Mathematics or Science stream, which will be considered an added advantage), OR a relevant professional qualification. At least one year experience in the Credit Risk Management/Credit Operations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare clear reports and presentations.

Key Responsibilities: Manage Loan Review Management (LRM) activities, including portfolio monitoring and credit risk identification. Conduct independent credit risk assessments for credit facilities above LKR 10 Mn and provide recommendations. Prepare risk reports and presentations for Management and Board Committees. Develop and review credit risk policies and procedures to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
