Location: Ketchikan, Alaska Facility: Critical Access Hospital Start Date: November 2, 2026 Assignment Duration: 6 months FTE: 1.0 Setting: Inpatient Hospital Beds: 25 EMR: Epic 🌟 Opportunity Overview An exciting opportunity is available for a CRNA to provide anesthesia services at a Critical Access Hospital in beautiful Ketchikan, Alaska . This role offers a broad clinical experience with a diverse mix of surgical, obstetric, pediatric, orthopedic, and procedural cases.

The CRNA will work as part of a multidisciplinary hospital team and provide coverage in both scheduled cases and emergency situations. 📅 Schedule & Call Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Evening and weekend call required Current call model is approximately 2 days on / 2 days off Call frequency will vary based on provider availability Admissions responsibilities included Approximately 5–15 patient contacts/day , depending on volume 8 hours of orientation are non-billable 🏥 Clinical Environment 25-bed Critical Access Hospital Adult Level IV trauma designation Approximately 5–15 patient contacts per day All-age patient population General anesthesia and critical access hospital coverage CRNA will not work alone; multidisciplinary physician support is available 🔹 Case Mix Experience with a broad range of cases is required, including: General surgery Endoscopy Total joint procedures Arthroscopy Peripheral nerve blocks Urology ENT Gynecology C-sections Pediatric dental, ENT, and orthopedic cases Labor epidurals 👥 Collaborative Care Team The CRNA will work alongside: General Surgery Orthopedics Pediatrics OB/GYN Hospitalists Emergency Department physicians ✅ Requirements CRNA / NBCRNA certification required Active Alaska license in hand at time of presentation BLS required NRP required PALS required ATLS required ACLS required Epic proficient user required Case logs documenting relevant clinical activity from the previous 24 months COVID-19 vaccination required per facility policy; no exemptions 🌲 Why Ketchikan?
