Note: The duration of the contract is between the government and us. Like any other job, if life means you must leave, you give us a 60-day notice. COMPENSATION: $215/hr. all inclusive, 1099 $10/hr. on-call (from home, with 30-60 min call back. We know this is not ideal, but it’s the max amount the VA allows under this contract, and the entirety is passed on to you) $250/hr. call-back (minimum 1 hr.

paid) $250/hr. OT (paid after 40hrs a week – although extremely rare). We cover Med Mal (claims made + tail) SCHEDULE: M-F, 6:30am – 3pm. There is a late shift 9:30am – 6pm everyone rotates through Call is based on # of CRNAs. Right now, 1 weekday call every 17 days. 1 weekend call every 17 weeks. All Fed holidays OR is closed except call. CRNA/MD call team. Call-back is extremely rare.

Only 34 annual hrs. total estimated for the whole contract. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT : 11 ORs, 2 Gi Suites, plus pulmonary, IR, etc. Average 7-8 rooms running a day. From on-site CRNAs: “ACT on paper, but collaborative in nature. Physician anesthesiologists generally very helpful and humble. They are usually present for induction but that's about it. They may pop in to check if you need anything but otherwise will stay out of your way unless you request them.” No Hearts, OB, Peds, Transplants ASA 3-4 mainly.
