Surgical Technologist – Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular Surgery Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule All shifts currently open: Day and Evening shifts available. Job Description The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical care in a dynamic environment. You will assist in various cases including cardiac surgeries (CABG, valve repair/replacement), thoracic surgeries (lung resections, esophagostomy), and vascular surgeries (AAA repair).
The role requires strong expertise in surgical procedures and the ability to adapt to different specialties as needed. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures. Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during surgeries. Utilize surgical instruments effectively and safely. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Participate in patient care before, during, and after surgery.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Strong experience in Cardiac, Thoracic, or Vascular surgery is required. CST certification preferred; no new travelers or new clinicians accepted.
