Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Supports cybersecurity planning, assessment, implementation, and continuous compliance activities throughout the AMC modernization lifecycle. Works with Base ISSMs, cybersecurity engineers, system owners, network engineers, and deployment teams to ensure systems are implemented in accordance with RMF, Zero Trust, DISA STIGs, Security Technical Implementation Guides, and DoD cybersecurity policies.
Assists vulnerability assessments, configuration compliance reviews, POA&M development, artifact preparation, risk assessments, eMASS documentation, and accreditation package development. Validates cybersecurity controls before implementation, during deployment, and following operational transition while supporting continuous monitoring and secure configuration management. Coordinates remediation activities, tracks cybersecurity findings, and supports Government cybersecurity reviews throughout project execution.
REQUIRED SKILLS 5 years of experience Must have an active Secret clearance Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation and cybersecurity-control assessment DISA STIG implementation, compliance validation, and secure-baseline management NIST SP 800-53 control analysis, artifact development, and control traceability Vulnerability assessment, remediation tracking, POA&M development, and continuous monitoring eMASS documentation and accreditation/ATO package support Zero Trust alignment, identity/access-management concepts, and secure network architecture fundamentals Cybersecurity validation during survey, design, installation, testing, cutover, and transition Strong technical writing, analytical, coordination, and risk-communication skills DESIRED SKILLS Air Force cybersecurity operations and Base ISSM coordination Zero Trust Architecture (NIST SP 800-207) Cross Domain Solutions, COMSEC, HAIPE, PKI, and certificate management ACAS/Tenable, SCAP, endpoint-security, SIEM, Defender, or Sentinel Cloud One/CNAP cybersecurity and continuous ATO Experience supporting multi-site network modernization and operational acceptance CERTIFICATIONS Required: DoD 8140 IAM Level I or IAT Level II (Security+ CE or equivalent) Desired: CySA+, CISSP, CISM, CASP+, or GSLC Overview We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team supporting US Air Force Air Mobility Command Base Infrastructure modernization.
