Role in Brief We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Data Associate Analyst collaborating closely with the Hedge Fund and Alternative Risk Premia Investment Due Diligence (IDD) team and the Data team. The Data Associate Analyst is responsible for managing daily data updates, coordinating with 3rd party data providers including investment banks and hedge fund managers, and ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of Albourne’s database.
Core tasks also include monitoring Albourne’s internally constructed indices —a suite of indices representing the aggregate performance of the Alternative Risk Premia universe—and handling client inquiries on indices and manager-related requests. The role also involves utilizing Albourne’s manager portal, to streamline communication with managers and ensure Albourne and its clients have access to the latest and most accurate information on Alternative Risk Premia products.
Insights to the Role Establish external relationships with providers through effective communication Data acquisition and processing Detection of outliers, errors and delays. Assist in the production of the monthly newsletter and ad hoc data related research pieces Maintain and update Albourne’s database and internally constructed indices. Collaborate closely with Investment Due Diligence strategy analysts and build strong working relationships with Data and Index teams.
Visualize key data insights through dashboards or charts to support decision-making. Who You Are Soft Skills: Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
