Responsibilities Lead daily operations for CMM data platforms, pipelines, integrations, and AI/ML capabilities Establish procedures for monitoring, incident response, problem management, and releases Monitor platform availability and pipeline health against SLAs and conduct root-cause analysis Oversee operational performance of ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and data lakes Support cloud data platforms in AWS, including patching and environment management Partner with Data Governance and Engineering to operationalize data quality rules and metadata Promote automation using CI/CD, IaC, and SRE best practices Lead Data Operations personnel, assign priorities, and mentor team members Requirements 10+ years of experience in IT Management with emphasis on data governance and modernization Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Expertise in big data cloud solution architecture, cybersecurity, and business intelligence Experience with master data management (MDM) platforms or enterprise data governance tooling Familiarity with data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent ITSM experience Familiarity with Python or PowerShell for automation Experience with data observability platforms like Monte Carlo, Collibra, or Informatica About the Company GDIT is a global technology and professional services company that delivers technology solutions and mission services to every major agency across the U.S.
