Responsibilities include the planning, coordination and implementation of all activities in the Day Health Center as well as the supervision of the Day Center Workers. Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a geriatric health setting. Preferred, licensed CNA in Kentucky. Proficiency with various business software, preferably Microsoft Office. Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation. Ability to foster collaborative working relationships. Strong interpersonal and group facilitation skills and ability to manage multiple teams.
Ability to supervise, direct, coach, and develop direct reports and larger team. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team and flourish in a flexible work environment. Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunization before having direct participant contact. Preferred Skills: Master's Degree in health care management/administration, or nonprofit/public administration preferred.
Licensed CNA in Kentucky. Knowledge of physical, mental, and social needs of the frail elderly and their families Essentials: In consultation with the Center Manager and other management staff, develops and implements policies, procedures and standards for the Adult Day Health Center. Communicates changes to staff, monitors outcomes and makes changes as needed. Interviews and recommends for hire, staff reporting directly to the Day Center Service Supervisor.
Provides for orientation, ongoing training and competency evaluation of staff according to program needs, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
