We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. We have an exciting opportunity for a Degree Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team based in Glasgow.

This is a great opportunity if you are interested in the commercial side of the construction industry to develop knowledge, skills and experience whilst studying a relevant degree and receiving guidance from a qualified surveyor. This role will be within our Water Division, working on one of our current three frameworks with Scottish Water. SR21 DV1 : Capital works water and wastewater framework, delivered by the Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA) Joint Venture.

Primarily infrastructure and civil engineering project improving network resilient and protecting the environment. SR21 DV2 : Predominantly MEICA based capital maintenance framework on existing water and wastewater assets. Upgrade, refurbishment and high value capital maintenance projects SR27 DV4 : The integrated design and construction of civil and infrastructure projects within SW 12 years enterprise arrangement.

The successful candidate will enroll onto the Level 6 Chartered Surveyor (Quantity Surveyor Pathway) Degree Apprenticeship, with one of our partner Universities. Over 5 years, you will work towards a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying, as well as chartership with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). We’d love to hear from you if you have: GCSE grade 4 or equivalent and above in Maths, English and Science with a Construction or Quantity Surveying HNC or Level 4 qualification in Construction or Quantity Surveying Great communication skills and a willingness to learn A collaborative approach and a drive to make a difference A driving licence and willingness to travel Evolve & Thrive A structured development programme designed to help graduate and degree apprentices to build the skills, experience and confidence needed to become one of M Group's future leaders.
