Manage the daily security operation of the loading bay and delivery areas Receive and verify deliveries and collections against approved pre-notification information Check driver, vehicle, company, delivery and collection details before permitting access Challenge and escalate deliveries where required information or authorisation is missing, incorrect or does not match Liaise closely with the Security Control Room regarding expected deliveries and collections Communicate professionally with site management, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders Direct drivers to the appropriate areas and ensure site security instructions are followed Prevent unauthorised access through loading bay and delivery areas Conduct security checks of vehicles and delivery areas where required Identify and report suspicious activity, security breaches or safety concerns We are looking for a professional, reliable and organised Delivery & Loading Bay Security Officer to join our security team.
Primary responsibility is secure management of the site's loading bay, deliveries, collections and vehicle movements. The role requires attention to detail and the confidence to challenge or refuse deliveries where security procedures have not been followed., Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus. A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g.
