An exciting opportunity exists for a Deputy Head of Information Services to contribute to the continued development of our Trust's data warehouse. This key role, within a dynamic team will be responsible for developing and enhancing the Information Department , to continue to meet the needs of Croydon Healthcare NHS Trust. Working closely with both clinical services and Informatics colleagues, the successful candidate will bring excellent technical and analytical skills, and knowledge and experience of using data and information to understand and support clinical services.
In return, this challenging post will allow the successful applicant to play a crucial role in developing the performance and scope of the data warehouse within the trust. There will be chances to develop new skills and also offer the opportunity to be a part of many exciting and challenging projects currently being undertaken at the Trust., Support the management, development, and ongoing support of the Trust's data warehouse and wider information management arrangements, acting as the subject matter expert on business intelligence.
Provide technical authority for the business intelligence function, supporting digital change initiatives across the department. Assist with the design and implementation of informatics solutions to ensure the Trust meets national, commissioning, and local reporting requirements, supporting a comprehensive performance management framework. Support delivering a robust technical environment that enables the Trust and its partners to use assured and reliable information for service change, efficiency, and continuous improvement in patient care.
Be involved with the development of self-serve data reporting tools, enabling colleagues to access key performance indicators, capacity and demand activity, and data quality metrics. Ensure all data management and reporting activities comply with Information Governance, data protection, and NHS standards.
