As a Manufacturing & Test Engineer Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and real-world projects that contribute to the innovation of fluid motion control and environmental control system solutions used in aerospace applications. Interns work closely with experienced engineers and industry experts, gaining valuable insights into engineering processes, product development, and problem-solving strategies.

With access to state-of-the-art facilities and mentorship from leading professionals, this internship is an ideal launchpad for students passionate about making an impact in the aerospace and defense market. Responsibilities This position will involve research, design, analysis, testing, and documentation for products such as composites, metals, elastomerics, electric heaters, acoustics, and aerodynamics.

Qualifications Must be currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field and in good standing Junior and Senior students are preferred Knowledge/experience in CAD design , Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident due to export regulations 40 hours per week (12 week internship) Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with SolidWorks and/or Catia v5/v6 • Experience with FEA software, such as ANSYS or NASTRAN • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink • Design experience • Testing experience • Specific experience in the aerospace industry and knowledge of the processes employed is a plus      Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
