On behalf of an established Swiss IT company, we are recruiting an experienced DevOps or Platform Engineer for a well-coordinated, agile service management team. The focus is on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and business automation solutions for clients from the public administration and social security sectors. We are looking for someone who enjoys covering a broad range of tasks - from software development through operations to automation.
Your Responsibilities Design and further development of customer and development infrastructures in development, deployment, and release projects - always with a view to scalability and cost Optimisation of build and deployment processes as well as implementation of DevOps automation approaches (CI/CD pipelines, BTC processes) Close coordination with development teams and clients during the planning phase; accompanying projects from requirements to production operation 2nd-level support including ticket analysis and processing; incident and problem management for supported applications Planning and execution of updates, release changes, and application optimisations Promoting collaboration between business, IT, and other stakeholders; advising clients on the implementation of their DevOps initiatives Our Requirements Completed degree or vocational training with an IT focus Experience in Java development as well as knowledge of Bash or PowerShell; familiar use of IDEs such as JetBrains, Visual Studio, or Eclipse Practical experience with Git/GitLab (version control) as well as CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, or Artifactory Experience in agile software development and/or IT operations; knowledge of Scrum, SAFe, or ITIL is an advantage Fluent German language skills (client contact) Willingness to travel occasionally (on-site support for clients in Switzerland) Your Prospects Diverse projects with technical depth and scope for creativity Flat hierarchies and a collegial team of around 10 software and system engineers Flexible annual working hours based on 40 hours/week 27 days of holiday and individual training opportunities (technical & methodological) Modern corporate culture with a spirit of innovation, trust, and team spirit Regular team events and mutual exchange on an equal footing
