And it's your chance to really shine and contribute to one of the world's most recognized brands and a beacon for engineering excellence.Position SummaryProvide technical support to operations and execute Manufacturing Engineering activities to develop, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and/or methods of manufacture, which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet business and customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, delivery rate and lead-time (SQCD).What you will be doingPut Safety First - Ensure that all digital solutions meet/support the requirement of Health, Safety & Environmental Standards as well as those associated with Product SafetyIdentify and develop opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes, digital systems and technologies to meet current or future requirements.Ensure compliance to all relevant company, legislative and technical policies and standards including RRMS, SABRe and Export Control and Intellectual Property requirements.Plan and manage activities including schedule, resources and costs, gaining buy-off and communicating to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure issues and risks are resolved to meet project timescales.Develop, implement, validate, maintain and continuously improve digital manufacturing systems and/or methods which are capable of meeting and continue to meet requirements for safety, quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time. Capture, analyze and use data to demonstrate and improve the current and future capability of manufacturing processes.Deploy and implement standardized Digital Manufacturing processes and technologies working across the Commodity and Production lifecycle with Design and Operations functions ensuring business readiness in terms of people and process change to maximize the business benefit.Basic Requirements:Bachelor's degree Engineering or Engineering Technology with 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Systems Engineering; ORMaster's degree or PhD in Engineering or Engineering Technology; ORIn lieu of Degree; 6+ years' experience in Manufacturing or Manufacturing Operations in a technical capacityIn order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US CitizenPreferred Requirements:Experience using TeamCenter to author documents and work instructions for use in the manufacturing, assembly and test environmentsUnderstanding Digital systems (ERP and/or MES) and how they are integrated into manufacturing operationsExperience leading digital changes in the manufacturing, assembly and test environmentExperience leading a training course on a technical subjectGeneral understanding of manufacturing processesGeneral awareness of Manufacturing Systems and enabling digital tools used in Manufacturing EngineeringUnderstanding of Manufacturing and Manufacturing Systems EngineeringOur vision is to ensure that the quality and dynamism that shaped our history continues into our future.
