Director of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions

Montana State University is hiring a Director of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions. The Director leads the university's graduate recruitment and admissions strategy by managing application processing, evaluation, decision-making, and orientation programs. This role collaborates with academic departments to attract high-quality graduate students and enhances the overall graduate student experience.

Highlights Oversees graduate student application processing, admissions decisions, and compliance with Board of Regents policies. Develops and implements recruitment and marketing strategies, including managing recruitment events. Supervises recruitment and admissions staff, providing leadership and performance management. Manages graduate admissions and recruitment software systems, including CollegeNET, BANNER, and CRM tools.

Creates and updates online orientation materials using the Canvas system for new and current graduate students. Requires a bachelor's degree in higher education administration, student services, communications, marketing, or related field. Progressively responsible experience in graduate admissions, student recruitment, enrollment management, or higher education administration. Experience supervising employees and managing multiple priorities independently.

Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree and experience with relational databases and student information systems. Salary is $78,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
