The South East Construction Technical Excellence College (SECTEC) is seeking an ambitious Director of the Regional Knowledge Centre (RKC) to lead a pioneering centre of excellence transforming construction education and skills across nine counties. You will work with colleges, training providers, employers, industry bodies and strategic partners to drive curriculum innovation, improve teaching and learning, expand professional development and strengthen workforce capability across the region.
You will set the strategic direction of the RKC, lead knowledge exchange and digital learning, build influential partnerships and champion the sharing and scaling of best practice. You will also represent SECTEC regionally and nationally, while overseeing governance, performance, resources and impact. A key priority will be developing a sustainable operating and funding model to secure the RKC's long-term legacy beyond the SECTEC funding period.

The Role: Where you'll work: This role is based at our NKC Gravesend College and has the opportunity to work from home, but will require travel across South East region Your hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum (1 FTE).
Your contract: This project is funded by the Department for Education until 31st March 2029, with funding contracts to NKC Group confirmed annually. This role is therefore offered initially as a fixed term contract until 31 March 2027, with the intention to extend annually by mutual agreement to 31 March 2029.
