Lancaster University seeks a Disability and Inclusive Practice Adviser to join our Disability and Inclusive Practice Service. You will provide essential support for students disclosing disabilities, ensuring equitable experiences and promoting inclusive practices across departments., o Business Partnership: Collaborate with academic and professional staff to implement discipline-specific adjustments and inclusive practices.

o Expert Guidance: Offer specialist support to disabled students, ensuring compliance with the Equality Act 2010. o Case Management: Manage a caseload of students, facilitating proactive meetings and handling external communications. o Data Review: Analyse disability-related data to enhance services and practices within departments. o Training and Development: Conduct workshops to promote inclusive practices among university staff.

o Degree-level education or equivalent experience. o Experience with diverse disabilities in a higher education context. o Strong interpersonal and communication skills. o Proven ability to monitor, analyse data, and produce reports. o Emotional resilience and the ability to support others. Desirable Attributes: o Expertise in specific areas of disability. o Knowledge of higher education inclusive practices.
