Dispatch Coordinator

Position Summary Beacon Hill is seeking a Dispatcher to support daily service operations through efficient scheduling, customer communication, and administrative coordination. This role combines high-volume inbound and outbound customer interaction with dispatch responsibilities to ensure technicians are deployed effectively and customers receive timely, professional service.

Position Details Job Type: Contract to Hire Pay Rate: $22-$25/hr Schedule: 8:00-5PM or 11:30-8:30PM Work Arrangement: Onsite Key Responsibilities Dispatch and schedule technicians based on location, skill set, and availability Coordinate service appointments, maintenance visits, consultations, and assessments Provide customers with appointment updates, scheduling changes, and estimated arrival times Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence Create, update, and close work orders with accurate documentation Manage daily administrative activities and service-related communications Coordinate parts deliveries and process purchase orders Maintain detailed customer records and account information Support payment collection activities and assist with inside sales initiatives Resolve customer concerns and ensure timely follow-up Collaborate with service, sales, and customer service teams to optimize daily workflow Complete assigned service management system tasks on a daily basis Systems & Tools ServiceTitan or similar field service management software Microsoft Office Suite Customer relationship management and scheduling systems Multi-line phone systems Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous dispatching experience strongly preferred, ideally within HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or other skilled trades industries Customer service experience required Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities Proficiency with computers and the ability to quickly learn new systems Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Geographic knowledge and route-planning skills preferred Service-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to remain professional and calm in high-volume situations Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.California residents: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.If you would like to complete our voluntary self-identification form, please click here or copy and paste the following link into an open window in your browser: https://jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com/eeoc/Completion of this form is voluntary and will not affect your opportunity for employment, or the terms or conditions of your employment.
