Job Overview Western Cape Blood Service seeks an experienced Driver for a 3-month temporary contract in the Transport Department (Paterson Grade B2). The role involves collection, delivery, and transfer of scheduled and emergency blood and stock to hospitals, blood banks, mobile clinics, and donation centres. Main Purpose Collection, delivery and transfers of scheduled and emergency blood and stock to and from Hospitals, Blood Banks, Mobile Clinics and Blood Donation Centres.
Requirements Code 8 (B) driver's licence with PDP and without endorsements. Matric certificate. 3 years previous commercial driving experience. Skills & Attributes Neat and well groomed. Friendly disposition with keen interest in the work; willingness to work as part of a team essential. Variable working hours; must be able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Additional Information As part of the recruitment process, a psychometric assessment may be required.
