We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: E-Commerce Manager Location: Gbagada, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Description The E-Commerce Manager will lead the company's e-commerce operations to drive sales growth, profitability, customer acquisition and retention, while delivering a seamless online customer experience.
The role is responsible for developing and executing e-commerce strategies, managing online platforms and marketplaces, optimizing digital marketing and merchandising, and achieving agreed revenue and commercial targets. Responsibilities Strategy & Commercial Growth: Develop and execute e-commerce strategies aligned with business objectives, growth plans, and revenue targets. Translate Management decisions into effective execution and ensure clear communication across relevant stakeholders.
Identify new marketplaces, digital channels, partnerships, and commercial opportunities to increase revenue. Develop and optimize digital marketing strategies, campaigns, investments, and initiatives to improve profitability and performance. Identify underperforming areas and implement strategies to improve sales, conversion, customer acquisition, and retention. Collaborate with Store Managers and other stakeholders to develop initiatives that attract and retain customers and expand existing accounts.
Data, Market & Performance Analysis: Use analytics to monitor sales trends, customer behaviour, product performance, traffic, and campaign effectiveness. UtilizeGoogle Analytics and other analytics toolsto understand customer journeys and identify growth opportunities. Monitor competitor activity, web sales trends, search performance, and market developments. Oversee on-site search, online merchandising, category development, and product performance, drivingcross-selling and upsellingto improveUPT and AOV.
Monitor stock availability and analyze web sales against store and inventory performance. Develop a strong understanding of customer needs, product categories, market opportunities, and emerging e-commerce trends. Track and optimize digital advertising, search engine traffic, conversion rates, and marketing ROI. Online Platform & Customer Experience: Oversee the design, functionality, maintenance, and performance of SKLD’s website, web portals, and online marketplaces.
Analyze website traffic, user behaviour, and conversion data to improve navigation, usability, and overall online performance. Direct and coordinate software developers, copywriters, graphic designers, and other digital resources in line with e-commerce strategy. Develop and implement strategies to deliver a seamlessomnichannel customer experience. Monitor competitor offerings and ensure SKLD’s online proposition remains competitive and aligned with customer expectations.
Establish and maintain effective customer engagement, feedback, and complaints-resolution processes. Ensure timely resolution of online customer complaints and continuously improve the digital customer experience. Leadership & Team Management:
