We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Hornchurch. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to providing high-quality early years education and creating a positive foundation for children's future learning. The successful candidate will join a collaborative Early Years team and play a key role in delivering an engaging curriculum that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils.

Applicants should: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching within EYFS, although applications from ECTs are welcomed. Demonstrate a strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills. Be committed to raising attainment and ensuring positive outcomes for all pupils. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

As a Reception Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences in accordance with the EYFS Framework. Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Support children in developing confidence, independence, and a love of learning. Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress effectively. Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning. Contribute to the wider life of the school community. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
