Education: BEng Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Instrumentation Engineering Job Experience & Skills Required: Experience in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation engineering within mining, mineral processing, and industrial plants Knowledge of PLC, SCADA and DCS systems Experience with MCCs, VSDs, instrumentation and control system integration Project execution and commissioning experience Ability to develop engineering standards and specifications Duties: Design and develop electrical, control and instrumentation systems for mineral processing plants and industrial facilities.
Produce electrical designs, cable schedules, instrument indexes and control philosophies. Develop PLC and SCADA functional specifications and oversee software integration activities. Conduct instrument selection, sizing and specification for process control applications. Manage project execution from concept design through detailed engineering and commissioning. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities to ensure successful project delivery.
Perform site inspections, commissioning and troubleshooting of plant control systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements and client specifications. Support plant optimisation initiatives through automation and process improvement projects. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams. Apply now!
