An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and committed Education Effectiveness Partner to join the team in a continued development strategy working with schools on joint strategies for inclusion, use of alternative provision and promoting positive outcomes for Leicestershire's most vulnerable children and young people.

We are seeking a dynamic and committed Education Effectiveness Partner to join our Education Effectiveness Service area within Children and Family Services. This role involves being the point of contact for all schools, academies, colleges, and educational settings in a geographical area of Leicestershire, fostering good working relationships to ensure the best possible education for children and young people.

Knowledge and an understanding of the current agendas within education, particularly regarding inclusion, use and development of internal alternative provision arrangements and SEN would be beneficial. Additionally, strategic experience in these areas and involvement in the secondary phase would be advantageous. An enhanced with barred list DBS check is required for this post., To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria: Have Qualified Teacher Status with DfE number and extensive experience of working with schools, including evaluating and developing whole-school practice with sound understanding of the issues facing schools and how schools operate.

Have recent, successful management of significant programmes or projects and can demonstrate experience of strategic thinking at a senior level. Have experience of developing and maintaining initiatives, and quality assuring their effectiveness. Be able to work independently and with initiative. Be able to deal with sensitive issues with diplomacy and tact. Have some understanding of the legislative, regulatory and statutory duties in education relating to the right of children and young people to access a good quality education Have effective communication skills be well-motivated and flexible.

Have professional manner and plenty of common sense.
