Key Responsibilities Build and wire electrical control panels from engineering schematics. Complete full machine wiring, including sensors, cabling and heavy-duty motors. Install VSDs/VFDs, soft starters, breakers and low-voltage controls. Interpret electrical and pneumatic drawings. Conduct pre-commissioning testing and quality inspections. Install, test and commission machinery at client sites. Diagnose electrical, automation and pneumatic faults.
Perform basic PLC fault-finding and setup. Work alongside mechanical technicians on pneumatic integration. Ensure compliance with electrical, LOTO, arc-flash and food-grade safety standards. Minimum Requirements Qualified Electrician – Red Seal / Trade Tested. 3–5 years' post-apprenticeship experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong experience with control panels, 3-phase systems and high-amperage machinery .
Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting and VSD configuration . Able to use electrical diagnostic equipment. Siemens, Mitsubishi and/or Omron PLC exposure advantageous. Valid driver's license. Willing to travel to client sites. Willing to work occasional overtime and weekends for commissioning requirements. The position includes work in both a factory workshop and at client sites .
