This role offers a balanced mix of endoscopy, outpatient clinic, and inpatient consults , with predictable 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off scheduling . Schedule Block Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Coverage Type: Scheduled + on-call requirement Call: Required (details per rotation) Clinical Responsibilities Perform EGD and colonoscopy procedures Provide inpatient gastroenterology consults Manage outpatient GI clinic visits Treat adult and geriatric GI conditions (18–99 population) Collaborate with multidisciplinary GI team Practice Details Setting: Hospital + outpatient clinic EMR: Epic Hospital Size: 30-bed facility Support Staff: 1 MD, 3 APPs, clinical and non-clinical support staff Daily Volume: ~10–11 patients per day Procedures: High procedural GI focus (EGD/colonoscopy) Requirements Board Certified in Gastroenterology (required) Active Pennsylvania license (required) DEA required Minimum 2 years experience required Epic EMR experience required Additional Information Credentialing timeframe: ~90 days (temporary privileges available for clean files) All orientation hours are billable Structured schedule with extended off-service time Strong clinical and procedural support team Why This Opportunity?
