• Develop and maintain embedded software for our machine controllers. • Design motion control systems for stepper motors, encoders and other drives. • Set up, test and optimise positioning axes. • Integrate sensors, actuators, digital I/O and frequency converters. • Implement communication protocols such as Modbus RTU and other industrial interfaces. • Translating machine functions into robust software logic and state machines.
• Debugging hardware and software together on prototypes and production machines. • Contributing to the further development of our controller hardware. • Collaborating with mechanical engineering on the development of new machine functions. • Further evolve machine-specific software towards a more modular and reusable software architecture. • Contribute to diagnostics, logging and service functionality.
• In the long term, help manage the interface between the real-time machine controller and higher software layers/HMI.
