Emergency MD Location: Harlingen, Texas Practice setting: Emergency medicine Schedule: Multiple shift options available Physician coverage may include 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, and 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM Position Overview Provide emergency department coverage, evaluating and treating a wide range of acute conditions. Collaborate with onsite clinical teams and specialty support as needed.
Document care in the electronic medical record (Cerner). Required Qualifications Board certified in Emergency Medicine or board eligible as required by the facility. Active Texas license. Active DEA registered to Texas address. ATLS and PALS may be required depending on credentialing requirements. Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
