Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens – Salinas, CA

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens position in Salinas, CA. This is a high-volume ER coverage opportunity at a regional tertiary care, STEMI, and stroke receiving facility. Please see below for more information. Job Responsibilities: Provide coverage in the Main ER Manage approximately 65,000 annual ED visits (2 patients per hour, approximately 20 patients per 10-hour shift) Care for pediatric and critical care patients Coordinate with strong subspecialty backup Provide care within a democratic group staffing model Treat STEMI and stroke patients at a regional receiving facility Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABEM Active California state license DEA Pediatric and critical care experience required Working Hours: Shift: 4x10 (7:00a–5:00p) Minimum 8 shifts per month (12 preferred) No call Start Date: 6/8/2026 Contract Length: 26 weeks Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099 For more information and to apply, please apply via the DocCafe link, or schedule time to speak with me via the calendar link below.
