Emergency Medicine Medical Director - Minutes from NYC

Lead a busy, well-supported ED where Emergency Medicine still feels like Emergency Medicine. We are recruiting an experienced Emergency Medicine physician for an extremely satisfying Medical Director opportunity just minutes from New York City. This is a 50-60,000-visit Level III Trauma emergency department with meaningful acuity, trauma and complex emergency care. Physicians are actively involved in managing challenging cases rather than simply transferring every interesting patient to a tertiary team.

Just as importantly, the incoming Medical Director will not be walking into an understaffed department. The organization has recently made a major investment in the program, including the addition of seven new Emergency Medicine providers and a transition toward greater physician coverage. The result is a healthy, well-staffed clinical team that allows the new leader to focus on what leadership should be about: operations, physician engagement, quality, throughput and patient experience.
