Endoscopy Decontamination Technician

The post holder will assume responsibility for the day to day delivery of Endoscopes/Cystoscopes/ureteroscopes in a timely fashion to the procedure rooms complying with the current guidelines.The main elements of the role will be to ensure that Decontamination services are delivered to the required standards as set out in HTM 01-06. The post requires good communication skills and the ability to multitask to deliver the service that is required.

Evidence of general education e.g. GCSE's or equivalent., Knowledge of decontaminating endoscopes Experience of working in a Sterile Services Department or Endoscopy Decontamination department, Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing.
