Endoscopy Technician Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule AM Shift: 08:00 – 16:30, 5 × 8 hr shifts per week. Job Description The Endoscopy Technician, under the guidance of the registered nurse, is responsible for the care and safety of patients under his/her care. This role includes preparing for cases, assisting with patient preparations, properly handling instruments and supplies, setting up the procedure room based on specific needs, and anticipating the physician’s requirements.
Responsibilities Care and safety of patients under the direction of the registered nurse. Preparation of cases and the procedure room according to physician preferences. Assistance with patient preparation and proper handling of instruments and supplies. Anticipate physician needs during procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology Preferred.
