Engineer II - Vehicle

Club Car boasts a 60+ year history of industry-leading innovation and design, initially focused on golf cars and then expanding to commercial utility vehicles and personal-use transportation. ENGINEERING DISCIPLINES Vehicle Engineer:  Work on the development of vehicles used by customers around the world. The position requires a passion for vehicles and the desire to work with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment to bring new and exciting products to market.

Support the design process for vehicle related components and systems from connect to production. Transform market requirements into system, subsystem and component specifications. Perform project related assignments and work directly with all functions of the organization to ensure project success with respect to Quality, Delivery and Cost. Ensure technical rigors for all projects assigned (Specification, DFMEA, DVP, APQP, and Technical Design Reviews).

Utilize PTC Creo to design & develop mechanical components and subsystems to Club Car specifications. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure Design for Manufacture (DFM) and to incorporate designs into manufacturing processes. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Plastics Engineering Technology, or equivalent is required. Experience: 3+ years’ experience is recommended.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.

This position may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch as needed.
