What this job involves: Our graduate programme will provide you with first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification in engineering within the workplace management sector.

You'll join us on a 2-year trainee programme across EMEA, working towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional engineering institution (such as CIBSE, IMechE, or IET, depending on your discipline). If you do not have an accredited engineering degree, you will complete a fully funded online accredited certification in Building Services Engineering or Facilities Management with an approved university as part of the graduate programme.

You will be fully supported by both JLL and the university throughout your academic journey. Rotating within the EMEA Workplace Management (WPM) Engineering team, you will gain diverse experience in managing building services and critical systems across various client portfolios and sectors. You will take ownership for real work that will help our clients maintain optimal building performance and operational efficiency.

You will gain exposure across the full spectrum of engineering services, working on different property types with various client organizations and understanding the different strategies clients employ in managing their facilities and assets. What your day-to-day will look like: You'll get involved in real work from day one that will help clients achieve their operational excellence goals. The work will vary depending on the team you are in but below are some of what you'll experience: You'll be supporting senior Engineering Leaders to deliver technical and operational tasks such as: Attending planned preventative maintenance (PPM) reviews and reactive maintenance meetings, documenting actions and ensuring follow-through Understand Engineering Statutory Compliance across EMEA.

Audit to assure compliance Managing engineering documentation including asset registers, maintenance schedules, and compliance records Supporting contract administration activities such as reviewing service provider performance and processing work orders Preparing and delivering technical reports, energy performance analyses, and presentations to clients. You'll learn how to use various engineering management systems, building management systems (BMS), computer-aided facility management (CAFM) platforms, and databases to collect and analyse data that supports optimal building performance You'll build relationships across our business and with clients to ensure we deliver exceptional engineering services and drive continuous improvement You'll take part in regular training in technical competencies, business skills, and professional development to support your progression toward chartered status Where you will be working: You will be part of the EMEA Engineering Operations Team (our Engineering Centre of Excellence supporting our clients and accounts across EMEA).
