Mass General Brigham is seeking an accomplished healthcare leader to help drive the next chapter of our patient safety journey.*Please note that the role has a high need for a strong clinical background.As Enterprise Program Director, Patient Safety, you will have the opportunity to influence patient care at scale by partnering with executive, clinical, and operational leaders across one of the country's most respected integrated healthcare systems.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Patient Safety, you will play a key role in advancing a culture where safety is embedded in every aspect of care delivery.This is a unique opportunity for a leader who is passionate about healthcare quality, risk management, patient safety, and organizational transformation. You'll help shape enterprise-wide strategy, champion innovative approaches to safety, and drive meaningful improvements that positively impact patients, families, and care teams throughout the system.Why This Role MattersPatient safety is one of Mass General Brigham's highest priorities.

In this role, you will help create safer systems, strengthen organizational learning, and build sustainable processes that support exceptional care outcomes.Your work will extend beyond managing programs-you will influence culture, guide change, and collaborate with leaders across hospitals, ambulatory practices, and clinical services to ensure safety remains at the center of everything we do.What You'll Have the Opportunity to DoServe as a strategic thought partner to the Vice President of Patient Safety and senior leaders across the organization.Drive the execution and continuous evolution of enterprise-wide patient safety and risk management initiatives.Lead efforts to identify emerging risks and translate data into actionable improvement strategies.Advance a proactive culture of safety by promoting transparency, learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.Partner with clinical and operational teams to standardize best practices across the system.Guide critical event reviews and organizational learning efforts that help prevent future harm.Influence system-wide approaches to safety event reporting, trend analysis, and regulatory compliance.Support leaders in achieving key patient safety, accreditation, and regulatory goals.Mentor and lead patient safety and risk management professionals while fostering collaboration and professional growth.Help shape both short-term priorities and long-term strategic objectives for patient safety across Mass General Brigham.What Will Make You SuccessfulThe ideal candidate is a trusted leader who combines deep expertise in patient safety and risk management with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders in a complex healthcare environment.You are someone who:Brings credibility and confidence when partnering with physicians, executives, and interdisciplinary teams.Understands how to translate safety science into practical, measurable improvemen
