Neurosurgeon Opportunity – Erie Full-Time | Employed | Spine-Focused | PSLF Eligible Position Overview A flagship hospital within a respected nonprofit health system is recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to join the region’s premier Neurosciences Institute . This is a high-volume, spine-focused role designed to meet growing regional demand while maintaining a balanced, sustainable schedule.

Permanent, full-time position New graduates welcome H-1B visa candidates accepted Employed model with PSLF eligibility Practice Setting Join a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team including: 5–6 Neurosurgeons (including cerebrovascular/endovascular expertise) 2 Neurohospitalists 8 Neurologists 2 Neuroradiologists Neurointerventional Neurology 8 Advanced Practice Providers Practice at a Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center Regional referral center serving nearly one million people Dedicated OR block time for predictable, efficient scheduling Case Mix 80–90% Spine | 10–20% Cranial Broad and complex pathology including: Neurotrauma Complex spine surgery Brain tumors Cerebrovascular disease Academic & Professional Opportunities Participation in: Multidisciplinary conferences Quality improvement initiatives Teaching of medical students and residents Research opportunities available , if desired Compensation & Incentives Competitive base salary Productivity and quality incentives Residency incentive $50,000 sign-on bonus wRVU-based compensation structure Employer-paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance CME days and CME stipend Relocation assistance Benefits Package Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Employer-paid short- and long-term disability Group life insurance Paid parental leave 403(b) retirement plan with 50% employer match Employer-paid pension plan (participate in both) Tuition assistance for self, spouse/domestic partner, and dependents Paid time off Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurosurgery Residency Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery Spine fellowship preferred but not required Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license DEA certification Why Erie, Pennsylvania?
