Non-Invasive Cardiologist Opportunity – Erie $100,000 Sign-On Bonus | Full-Time | Employed | PSLF Eligible | H-1B Sponsorship Available Position Overview A premier, nonprofit health system in Erie, Pennsylvania —the “Flagship City” on the southern shore of Lake Erie—is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a high-volume, full-service cardiology program serving Northwestern Pennsylvania, Western New York, and Northeastern Ohio .
Permanent, full-time position H-1B visa candidates welcome New graduates encouraged to apply Employed model with Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility Practice Setting Join an established cardiology department of 27 cardiologists , including: 9 Non-Invasive Cardiologists Interventional Cardiology Electrophysiology Cardiac Surgery Supported by 22 Advanced Practice Providers Busy, collaborative, high-volume program with strong subspecialty integration Office and diagnostic center located adjacent to the hospital Clinical Scope & Resources Fully accredited programs in: Nuclear cardiology Echocardiography Vascular diagnostics Services include: TEE Stress echo 3D echo EKG Vascular diagnostics Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI Specialized clinics available: Congestive Heart Failure Adult Congenital Heart Disease Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Pediatric Cardiology State-of-the-art 16-bed CVICU in a modern critical care tower (opened 2020) 24/7 critical care medicine support General cardiology call shared with 14 physicians Two-year senior status track Compensation & Incentives Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and training $100,000 sign-on bonus 25 days PTO + 7 recognized holidays Year 3 PTO increases to 9 weeks CME days and CME stipend Paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance Paid parental leave Relocation assistance Benefits Package Medical, dental, and vision insurance Employer-paid short- and long-term disability Group life insurance 403(b) with 50% employer match Cash Balance retirement plan Tuition assistance for self, spouse/domestic partner, and dependents Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiology Fellowship Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license DEA certification Hospital & Community 458-bed regional referral hospital Level II Trauma Center Supported by 650+ physicians and nearly 4,000 employees Nationally recognized for quality, safety, and patient outcomes Why Erie, Pennsylvania?
