The School of Biosciences at Chanakya University invites applications for Assistant and Associate Professor positions in a) Computational Biology , with a focus on Genomics, and Big Data Analytics using AI/ML, Mathematical modeling, and Systems Biology. b) Bioengineering , with a focus on Biomaterials, Cell and Tissue Engineering, Biomedical Devices, and Synthetic Biology. c) Neuroscience , with a focus on Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience, Systems and Computational Neuroscience, and Neurodegeneration.

Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to developing robust research programs and possess a passion for teaching in the University’s academic programs. Candidates with a strong quantitative and interdisciplinary background, and substantial postdoctoral or relevant industry experience are preferred. Responsibilities Primary responsibilities: Develop strong, collaborative, and externally funded research programs in the aforementioned areas.

Establish and lead research groups, including the supervision and mentoring of PhD students. Contribute to teaching within the School of Biosciences by delivering existing courses and developing new courses and modules aligned with the School's research and educational priorities. Support the School's research and academic initiatives by participating in institutional activities. Eligibility Ph.D.

in relevant area with a Strong publication track-record Minimum of two years of post-doctoral/ industrial experience Ability to write research proposals and attract extramural funding Ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences Evidence of commitment to teaching and training Remuneration and other benefits: Remuneration will be commensurate with expertise and experience. Selected candidates will receive seed funding (based on their research proposal) for starting their research work.
